The program is a wonder. I've always been an animal lover, and could manage to get them to come to me by a cal or a clicking sound, but I guess these horses sensed I was there for a different reason... any how one didn't pay me no mind he was to busy eating, the other well I think he would like just about anyone, he did notice I had my arm in a sling and just nuzzled my thumb a bit, but then there was this horse I was drawn to. He couldn't see me at all, he let me get close to him, so close he rested his whole head on my good shoulder, like he could scene I was broken, or that we had something in common....... maybe someday he will trust me to be his eyes... maybe together he (GR) and I, along with this program Amy has with the Equine AC I will learn to want to live again, in spite of being broken. After meeting with Amy the first time and meeting the horses I became very sad as I drove off, maybe because the connection was so strong or just so needed, I'm not sure. Worth Trying
Broken/Work in progress
When my daughter was 2 1/2 her first word was "horse." I knew then, she was going to be a horse girl! I spoke with Amy and she said she would start Shandi on horseback riding lessons. My daughter thrived! I am so thankful for all the wonderful memories and opportunities Amy has provided for my daughter. I recommend Amy to any one who is looking for a knowledgeable instructor who understands the need for individualized direction to her students, is fun and always patient. Thank you Rising Star Stables!
I love Rising Star Stables and have ridden there in the fall for about five years, including at the "old" place. Amy is wonderful with animals and people. I hope to go riding more often this year.
this saturday 1/28/2012 we had so much fun we got treated like family is a great place thanksss guys
We were staying at Fox Hills and saw a flyer. What a cool experience. "Rockee" was the first word out of my 2 year old's mouth the next day. The second time we went, he asked Amy "Where's the tractor?" He even recognized that "something's missing!" from the pen...the donkey was outside. The impression Rising Star made on my son, and the new words he learned make me, as a mom, SOOOO thankful that we happened upon it. Thanks see you really soon with some of Vince's friends, too.
